    GBC Orange broke out the kick butt can last night on the Bombers: final score 14-1 as Zac Joyce of East Forsyth tossed a complete game and hitting 88 on the gun.

    Personal Highlights of Weekend

    1) Watching LJ Newman of Renn HS in SC and Taylor Thurber of Lake Norman HS in NC pitch gems for the CBC Rats
    2) The 2 big flys that Derek Fisher mashed for Elite Baseball
    3) Working a 3 man crew with A NoN E Mous and Fish
    4) Lazagna meatball and cheese dinner at Backstreets Italian Restaurant
    5) Drinking a few Blue Moons at the downtown music festival
    6) Hanging with Coach Tim and Scott at Buffalo Wild Wings
    7) Being in the middle of a triple play that Norcal East pulled off to end the game giving them a 6-5 victory over the Canes
    8) Seeing Patrick Corbett of the Canes in full control on the bump
    9) 6am breakfast with 10 umpires at the hotel
    10) Umpiring a Mid Atlantic Rookies game with Ryan Ripken on the roster
    11) Seeing Anthony Dimino of CBC Rats at 3rd base making an over the shoulder diving catch of a foul ball down the line

    Last but not least finally getting to meet Slide and Amf and watching their son's Justin Hammond and Chris Ferrante perform on the field

    What a great weekend of Baseball

    nor cal east was missing 6 starters that what I heard. If this is true they will be good
