Most obnoxious parent... nominations

Why is it that SO many parents come to the games and cheer..... but only for their child? Isn't this a team sport?
My best example is the father of a player on the COOL out of the Charlotte area. He is silent throughout the entire game except when his daughter is involved and then he is difficult to be around. He yells.."BOOYAAH", whatever that means and then starts chanting "University of Florida" over and over again whenever his daughter is at bat.

 

please, no names, most every team has a parent that falls in this category, its all in how the head coach handles it. we used to ban these parents to the furthest point of the foul lines, perferably at the 200' point where they could say what they want and no one hear it......its as old as time, and everyone has had to deal with it at one time or another.

Careful Cheese, I usually sit down the foul lines so my DD does not hear me and roll her eyes when she makes a mistake.

Try to befriend them. Then you can help them see the error of their ways--or join them.

But whatever, don't forget the kid; there's not much they can do about it. And might not even see anything wrong with it.

Obnoxious Coaches

How about the most obnoxious coach award. lol

 

I know a coach that has a daughter on the team and makes errors and never says a word. But when another player makes a mistake it's end of the world. Thats really obnoxious !!!!

 

Got One

I nominate the parent who yells the same thing from the Steele Creek area.This guy is insane heard him hollaring on field one at Hargett and heard him from field one across the park on field 4.His ban distance should be the parking lot with the windows rolled up.This has to be horrible to his daughter and the rest of the team.
