New Umpire in Town

    Due to some unpopular calls this past season, there is a new umpire in town. This fella will certainly give Stretchy a run for his money. Last I heard he is working his way onto the showcase circuit.

    btw, I think he may be just a bit taller than Strrtchy....

    all kidding aside, my wife and I saw this little one a month or so ago. He was the cutest thing I have seen at the ball field in quite some time. He was very serious about his job and rang up quite a few players. He is the son of the ump behind the plate....enjoy the pics!

    This little guy (Linc) is an awesome umpire and I am going to hire him to TOSS a showcase boss at the next event. His dad (Brad) is a great umpire!

    We saw this "new" ump at a showcase game this past Thursday at UNC-CH. He was awesome and much more entertaining than the game to say the least. You don't see too many boys imitating the blue so that was a refreshing twist. He had all the calls too and loved the ball bag on his hip. I wish I had videotaped him as he would be a youtube sensation I betcha. Thanks for clarifying who he was because we didn't know if he was a brother of a player or who he was.

    There may be a "sighting" of the 'lil ump at the Statesville Owls game on Monday....only if he and his mom get free tickets:)

    this young man was at LR this past weekend and what is more impressive than even his "umpiring" is the obviously incredible relationship he has with his dad.
