    charlotte vs rutherford

I know that the Rutherford (#5 west) record at the end of regular season was only something like 8-6, (14 games) but they got off to a slow/late start due to so many players from East Rutherford going to and winning the state championship. Charlotte (#2east) finished what ?, 14-3 (17 games).

Counting on your sentence "Will be great matchups regardless"!

Will be interesting to see how Charlotte rebounds after their first loss in the playoffs.

    Charlotte 262 @ Rutherford Co. 423

The PA announcer at the Cherryville game said that Rutherford was leading Charlotte by a score of 9 - 1. Couldn't hear the inning he said. I hope someone will post the final.

You have to be impressed with both Rutherford and Cherryville; they didn't have as strong a regular season as they usually do but learned from it and grew together and have shown up big time in the playoffs. It will be exciting to see if Charlotte and Caldwell can climb back into the series. They're both at home and are good teams.

Charlotte is a good team but they've been running on fumes during this series. They lost Brian Holberton for the playoffs due to Legion roster rules, now they're down two pitchers (both Campbell and Weise are on the shelf). Leighton Daniels also tweaked his hamstring and has missed the Rutherford Co. series.

As I understand it, he was on the roster of a showcase team for one tournament and you can't be on any other roster in July to be eligible for Legion Playoffs. I could be wrong, but that's what I was told.
