What are the best sites and what makes them so?
What would make them better or best?

Fields, seating, vendors, hotels, attractions, game breaks, officiating, accommodations for families, activities for smaller kids, scoreboards, announcers, atmosphere, face painting, pastel chalk drawings, souvenirs, photography, helmet painting, etc.? REAL lemonade!

    Local?

My perspective is from the last few years, once my DD started playing 18U - when she was younger, there were alot of good ones...so,
If it's college coaches and exposure to great competition -
Boulder Colorado isn't too bad the Firecracker, not the other ones). Las Vegas wasn't too shabby.:18: Of course - the Dynamite in Columbia, Hotter than Haites in Florence (except for all the reasons stated in other thread) Virginia Beach was OK, Savannah too (but no coaches) Champions Cup in California, Rising Stars in FL, Ronald McDonald in Texas, but - I guess it depends on what you are looking for... the Cardinals ALWAYS put on a great tournament - Rock Hill or Walnut Creek.

Funny how there is no "major" tournament in Charlotte - Except the NSA World Series - I think they had lots of face painting and real lemonade there - lots of souvenirs and maybe even child care... LOL

DD just got back from the Sparkler in Colorado. She played on fields all the way from Westminster to Fort Collins and all of them are top notch.

There is a lot to do in and around Denver and the hotels are also very nice and well priced. The only problem that I have is that teams are REQUIRED to stay at tournament sponsored hotels. Fortunately the hotels (at least the ones that we stayed in) were very good.
