    Rutherford Co.423 @ Charlotte 262

According to the announcers at the Cherryville @ Caldwell game, the score is Rutherford Co. leading 17-5 in the 5th inning?

Hope someone will put up final. Looks like #423 is gonna be waiting and resting up for the Area 4 final.

Rutherford Co. defeated Charlotte last nigt 19-9. Charlotte never quit. They just ran out of pitching with Campbell and Wiese out due to injuries. Congrats to RC. They played well and hit the ball well.
Charlotte had a great season. This is the furtherest Coach Clewis' Post 262 team has ever made it in the playoffs. We are very proud of this team and hope the guys will come back next year to make another run at the state tournament.

while the baseball is fun, the injuries seem to be an annual challenge. the season is pretty intense, and the playoffs, with few breaks, more so. it's more like a pro-level schedule, but those teams have deep, deep rosters, plus the minor league system to pull players from.

Sounds like a helluva game in C'ville last night. Does anybody know what was going on that prompted the Caldwell ejection and the classless fan to throw something onto the field?

Coach Hamby wasn't too happy with the strike zone.

The Cherryville strike zone is very different from the opposing teams strike zone.

Coach Hamby probably isn't too happy with the season ending playoff series at Cherryville that has become an annual event. At what point are you officially somebody's bit......????
