    TV coverage

    The ESPN/RISE championship game will be televised on ESPNU at 8:00pm EST Saturday. This tournament has the elite high school talent in the country. The championship game should be a great game. The 4 teams left in the winners bracket are the

    • Socerers (last years GOLD national champion)
    • So Cal Athletics
    • OC Batbusters
    • Corona Angels

    Lady Lightning GOLD


    The Lady Lightning GOLD had a strong showing this week. They finished 2-2 in bracket play placing in the top 1/2 of the final tournament standing. Only 4 team east of the Mississippi will finished higher in the final standings and 2 of them are from Illinois.

    I strongly recommend folks watch the championship game on Sat at 8:00 on ESPNU. The level of talent and the quality of the teams is impressive.

    Love this website! For the first time, we can "watch" a team thru their gametracker as the game is played. It's been wonderful to follow our local girls as they compete against those California girls.
