any of you see the floppy-haired lefthander? a big kid; he could really pitch. great breaking ball & a fastball the other team could not catch up to.
he had that Southern California look.

don't know if they advanced yet to Williamsburg, Pa. world series.

Unless his breaking ball mechanics are absolutely perfect (and consistently repeated), don't expect to see him pitching in 5-to-6 years. Extraordinary talent can't overcome a shot arm.

    fluid

I'm certainly not an expert on pitching motions, but this kid had what I would call a fluid delivery. And LL Baseball has those pitching limitation rules.

Something I notice with the young kids I see pitching on TV is a lack of a full follow-through, or a tendency to short-arm pitches.

Are you sure it was not that big lefty from Boise, Idaho (Oldenburg) sp? The movement on his ball was causing headaches for his catcher

I wasn't a fan of his delivery. He doesn't use his front half AT ALL which typically leads to arm issues. IMO, he is just bigger and stronger than everyone right now.

I live in Georgia now and went to the Southeastern Regional. Used to be in St. Pete for years and years but they moved it to Warner Robbins, GA (not really sure why) but it is beautiful in person. Can hold up to 10,000 people and has a miniature version of Williamsport's outfield Hill, a great brick facade and it's brand spankin new. It's like playing in a really nice double A stadium

When will LL move the mound back to 50' and 70' base paths, along with a 250' fence? If ESPN really wanted to cover the best, they would cover the "Elite 24" USSSA events from Disney.
