Just saw where Lemay won't be playing football this fall. Yea he made a mistake but this is a case of where the high school system has miserablly failed. High schools are supposed to prepare the kids for the future. this kids future is Football and by taking that away they have hampered his future. I've never been in favor of taking sports away from kids as punishment. most of the times when you do it does more harm than good. I've seen several kids who that the only thing keeping them in school was sports and when that was taken from them the either quit or flunked out of school. Got to be a better way. I don't know the kid and don't care whether Butler wins a game or not but CMS dropped the ball on this kid

Some kind of sexual encounter on school with a girl. They suspended him for I think 40 days to start this school year basically taking away his senoir year of football, the main thing that was leading the way to his future. Luckily he already has a scholarship with Georgia so CMS didn't screw that up

They didn't take away his senior season. He did. He made a poor decision and now he has to pay the consequences. Georgia is not going to pull his scholarship and he will enroll in January and play spring football. I think that he and his family made the right decision to not play in SC or a private and just concentrate on his studies so he can graduate in December.

I am sure that Christian is a good kid...he certainly seems like it. But he made a mistake and there are consequences. Perhaps the punishment seems a bit harsh, but it certainly doesn't help that there seemed to be an effort to keep this from the school system rather than reporting it immediatly. Giving him any kind of pass because he is a star athlete sets a bad precedence. Actually, i think it is going to be a great learning experience for him and he has probably become more of a man in the last several months than anyone can imagine.
