2OT I guess was a challenge. Wow. Anybody have any insight on what happened in that game?

Very sloppy by both teams. Hibriten was up 14-0 just before half and had a fumble returned for a touchdown that kept freedom in the game.

Hibriten will not be beating teams like they did last year. Thier O-line and DB's are thier weak points.

They still have plenty of atheletes but not the O-line to block for them.

Hibriten, Hickory, and AC all have a shot at the conference championship in my opinion.

I knew from what I've heard and read that it sounded like the lines would be Hibriten's issue. Football fans all know that's the area that needs to be sure more than anything. AC tonight struggled at times as well, but I feel like AC may see Davie again if they both play as they're capable. Looks like the conference faired decent tonight. St. Stephens & Fred T Foard lost. Hickory didn't play. I believe the other teams AC, Watauga, South Caldwell & Hibriten won. Course first games are sometimes odd anyways. Maybe by everyone's 3rd game or so, we may have a better idea of what each team has in their bag.

Davie will be very fortunate to qualify for the post season. Not because they lack talent but their schedule is the toughest in North Carolina.
