Taylor Faris commits to SMC

    Two years of flirting with the ideal of going to SMC and a summer spent talking with coaches and visiting other campuses led Taylor in making her decision at the Cardinals Classic to commit to the SMC Pioneers. She really likes Coach Fox and is looking forward to playing on his team.

    Taylor, a middle infielder, who is also known as Pookie on the field is a senior at Kings Mountain High School and plays for the Lady Blues (Hill) team.

    Cograts to Taylor and family. I have had the pleasure of watching this young lady play this summer. She is a great player and great young lady. You picked a great school and coach to play for. Good luck and GO PIONEERS.

    Great job Taylor, I have watched this kid practice on her on many times at the KM high school field. She has worked very hard and will give it her best shot at all times.
