Greenville 15u Babe Ruth Wins Southeast Regional...

Sorry bout the play by play...uhm ... I kinda fell asleep

 

Greenville beat Waite Park Minn. 3-2 in 8 to advance to the Babe Ruth semi-finals in Monticello Arkansas. Greenville feel behind 1-0 in the bottom of the first as Minn. got a 1b and a ground rule 2b. Bottom of second Minn. add another to go up 2-0. They had the bases loaded with one out and Greenville got a F9 9-2 Double play from RF Tyler Garrett. Greenville finally got a hit and on the board in the top of the 4th. With 2 outs they got a walk, a Aaron Clark 1b, a Jarett Ozmik rbi 1b to cut it to 2-1. In the bottom of the 4th the first two Minn. batters reached on errors and moved to 2nd and 3rd on a pball. Pitching Change Dalton Britt to the Mound. Greenville dodges another bullet when they get another F9 9-2 DPlay from Tyler Garrett to Aaron Clark. Minn. leads 2-1 after 4. In the top of the fifth greenville draws 3 bbs including one with the bases loaded to make it 2-2. Greenville leaves the bases loaded in the 6th. Britt continues to do the job on the mound. In the bottom of the 7th Minn. gets a runner to 3rd with one out. Britt makes a diving stop on a ball bw the mound and short and gets the runner at 3rd. Greemville dodges another bullet we go to extras. Top of 8th Jarrett Ozmik 1b, 2 outs, Int walk to Britt, CJ Ebron 1b to cf scores pinch runner Cedric Barrett. Gville 3-2 lead. Bottom of 8 Ozmik to the mound. After a bb and a sac bunt, 3rd baseman Jeneil House handles two smashs to third for the 2nd and 3rd outs ballgame. Greenville VS Syracuse NY tomm. night 9 pm eastern.

Greenville falls to Syracuse NY 11-3 in Babe Ruth 15 year old world series. Sorry I do not have the play by play tonight. Greenville fell behind 1-0 in the first. Greenville took a 3-1 lead in the top of the 4th. The bottom of 4th was a tough one. Syracuse scored 9 runs on 5 or 6 hits, 3 gville errors and 2 or 3 bbs. Syracuse up 10-3. Greenville went quietly the rest of the way and Syracuse added one more. Disappointing night but a great run. Top 4 for 15 year old babe ruth. Guys have a safe trip home and once again great job.
