Agreed. For the younger game, any idea who some of the kids are or what showcase teams they play for?

    TV game of the week

The seniors game will be taped by WHIG-TV with commentary and play by play by Fish and Andy Partin. The game will be archived for viewing on the web at www.whigtv.com and CD's will be available for purchase. Good luck to all the players.

    No Canes?

Jordan Ramsey is. And just because they are not on the roster doesn't mean they weren't asked to be.

    21 Scouts and 20+ Recruiters

I know a lot is said back and forth about Impact this and Impact that here on this board. I try to stay out of it.

Fact is, I counted 21 professional baseball scouts and at least 20 different college recruiters in attendance at the Impact Futures Game yesterday on the UNC Campus including..........................RAY TANNER from the University of South Carolina! Coach Tanner was there when the 2013's started BP at 10:30AM and I saw him leave when the last out of the 2011 game was made at around 7:30PM.

Please guys...let's don't let this get into a pissing match. I'm happy for AP that things went well for him yesterday. I heard the BBQ was great.

I believe the players, coaches and families were just as excited participating at Woodstock. It was a cool event. But the players that attended either event should have been excited. I just hate that neither event could have moved their dates. We both tried.

But let's don't start slinging arrows. AP does a great job for the players in NC and Impact Baseball plays an important role. We're just fortunate in NC that players have many choices to be a part of a winning organization.

The good thing is that some of the pro scouts and college recruiters attended both the Futures Games and the Woodstock Games which is a tribute to the kids playing and also very diligent on the part of these coaches. All events are meant to showcase as many kids as possible to as many schools as possible. Have talent will travel.
