I said it before and I will say it again...its a Coach Deal coached team! I know first hand the ability he has as a coach and a motivator! At half time and before the overtime period he asked his players if they believed...he never gives up! I knew this game would be like this...i tried to tell you all! AC had the ball three times inside the Patton 20 in the fourth quarter and the Patton defense held them to two shanked field goals and a fumble! And sometimes its better to be lucky than good! Congrats to Patton and Coach Deal for believing!

We play not to lose, instead of playing to win. You let a team hang around long enough, they'll make a play. That's what they did. Hats off to them, but we need to make changes. Defense plays their hearts out every week. We run the same crap, never do anything remotely different, and expect to just pound away. If we want to play that way, line up in the freakin I. You don't run the spread to be a running team. Last drive of the game, we start mixing in the pass, get to the 20. Then start running again. It's so depressing watching talent being wasted. Use the talent you have, but we sure don't.

Ac's defense held patton to 95 yards of total offense and yet they lose the game! wow is all I can say. They better get things fixed or they may not win but one or two more games!

First I just wanna say what a great job the defense did again friday night. Thats all ill say about that

Losing to Patton is unaccpetable. I graduated in 2008 and it would be like losing to wilkes central. Its a slap in the face and ive talked to some of our plays an embarrasing the word they used. I dont know how else to say. I talk big all the time for us but I am now not sure we can compete with Hibriten. "not if things go the way they did the other night" our offense is so predictable and never changing. Zack Bum was unstoppable in the slot everytime and all we had to was run that play one more time an we woulda scored. I cant beleive we attempted another fieldgoal after the first miss. The whole group i was setting with new the xtra point wasnt going to be good. I'm not playing the coaches or the offense or any 1. I'm just saying after we lose to a team like Patton changes need to be made! Or we will continute to UNDERACHEIVE at alexander central highschool.

Why not an I package with Dustin Anderson and Jesus Morales? That would be unstoppable! Not bashing anyone or talkin bad just hate to see a more talented group of people lose. Esepcially ones that have worked as hard as that group has. Great kids an they play hard everyweek an leave it all on the field. Couldnt ask for a better group.

Hopepfully next week will be better!

Last year we all heard about how great the Cougars and their coaching staff was. You Cougar fans came on ever week and talked about how great your team was by keeping it simply. Now it seems that people have caught on. Are ya'll bailing after 2 losses or will you stay the course? :drive:

I am a inpartial fan but from what I have heard about the game, it was a pretty good game. and that is what some people were expecting. But I think that AC will get back on the winnning track this week. But I do agree that some cougar fans are on here talking big and then all of a sudden talking bad..From what I understand and I was not at the game it was just one bad play and then the game goes to another overtime...I have always heard when at home play for the tie and on road play for win

I think 52 just gets a little excited some times. But it was a very disappionting loss. NOT just one play. When you march the ball up and down the field all night and the D holds opponent to 95 yards. IT HURTS.Its just the way the ball bounces some times. Give Patton credit though they did what it took to win the game. Score is all that matters. Cougars will get things fixed this week. Foard goes behind the wood shed Friday Night. With a win Friday, 52 will be back to his old self. Just my predictions.... For 52 and the Cougars

I agree. This is just the way people are. When things are good they are all up and encouraging and blowing up the balloon of expectations and then once something goes drastically sour like this past Friday night, you would think they the program hadn't won a game in 3 years. Just calm down. It's the beauty of high school football. All 11 guys on every play, every night. Sometimes it doesn't work. AC will be fine. Patton will be fine as well.

haha your exactly right man i do get excited. i love watching good football and i know how good we can be. I've see the work these boys have put in first hand an i know how much they all care an i know how much it hurts them to lose.i told every one im not banging on the coaching staff or blaming no 1. i just hate to see us lose? have i gave up on them..not at all. I think we'll be fine i was just simply saying i would like us to be a little less predictable on offense..

an as for the guy who said something about small ball, last year we had Kyle Bradshaw and Logan Chapman an a solid veteran offesnive live who had started together for 2-3 years. Thats not a good comparison. Things change and the teams change. You can play small ball with leaders like KB. hand him the ball an he gets you 5 yards everytime. So thats not a good comparison bud....

I agree with cougar man we'll be back on the right track. I see Foard gettin dominated and I'll be right back up...haha enjoy talkin football with you guys...
