Congratulations- USA 16U National Team Trials

    Three area players will be among the 38 players chosen by USA Baseball to participate in the 16U National Team Trials beginning 9/25 in The Woodlands, Texas. From the Trials 20 players will be chosen to participate in the Pan Am Games in Mexico Oct 8-17.

    The players are:
    Payden Honeycutt - Matthews, NC
    Logan Koch - Charlotte, NC
    Corey Seager - Kannapolis, NC

    Outstanding representation from 3 exciting players from NC. Congratulations to these young men and I wish them well during their trials.

    Braves, don't forget that Lee County's Charlie Spivey is helping coach the 16U National Team. He's one of the best in the business.
