Charlotte "Last Minute" Showcase

    The rains in Eastern North Carolina this week put a huge dent in the Dynamic Showcase scheduled for the weekend of Oct. 2-3.

    Atlantic Coast Prep Baseball members and their allies at Carolina Baseball Center threw together a last minute schedule to keep the players off the streets. Thanks to Belmont Abbey College; Pfieffer College and Providence High School for jumping through last minute hoops to help make this happen.

    Should be some good baseball; come on out and enjoy the early fall weather.

    Results!

    2011 On Deck O's Black-2-0

    8-2 over the 2011 Heat-Shawn Weber and Alex Jensen had good days at the plate, Rob Bain got the win.

    7-0 over CBC Army. Reilly Hovis Grand Slam, Brandon McWhirter gets the win.

    2011 On Deck O's Orange-2-0

    3-1 over 2011 South Charlotte Panthers, Taylor Rowe gets the win, Mike Shadday and Austin Hicks in Relief. Brett Thompson, Zach Lax, Austin Hicks we strong offensively. Pat King, and Collin Keefer made several strong plays defensively.

    10-0 over the 2012 Heat Red. Anthony Allende Complete game shutout. Ryan Hodge made a couple of great plays at 3rd, and had two hits to lead the way.

    2011 SC Panthers over 2011 CBC Army 6-5 no details.
