New JV coach hired @ Central Cabarrus!

    The Central Cabarrus baseball program is really excited to announce the hiring of David Brown as our new JV head coach. Coach Brown formerly was the head coach at Hopewell H.S. where his team went 23-1 in 2 years in the MECA-7 Conference and won two conference titles while emerging as one of the Charlotte area's top programs.
    Coach Brown, welcome to the Vikings Baseball Family!!!

    Wow...what an outstanding addition to the Viking program. Congratulations to you, Coach Knight and obviously, to Coach Brown. David is a good man and your players will love him.

    Nice hire Coach Knight. Glad you saw thru the "politics" that occurred at Hopewell and hired someone that cares about the boys just as much as he cares about baseball (even though he did win more games in his 2 year stint then anyone else there). My son played for Coach Brown for two years at Hopewell and he made baseball fun again. Good luck to the Vikings!
