It poured the rain for about an hour before kickoff then turned chilly. The Blue Devils (8-3) actually trailed 7-3 after the first quarter but turned up the heat the rest of the way and destroyed the Wildcats. They now await the playoff seedings to see who/where they'll play next week.

Freedom won, and so did St. Stephens. I don't know the score for either game though.

Watauga and Saint were tied at 28 in the fourth the last i heard...

 

I just looked at the IHigh website and the Charlotte Observer website and they both have Watauga losing 42-0, that can't be right is it? How sure are you of the 28-28 score in the 4th. I am pretty sure Watauga didn't lose 2 weeks in a row by the same score.

Freedom has had a kick-ass season after finishing 5-7 last year. They lost in 2OT to Hibriten and by 15 to an excellent Burns team to finish the regular season at 9-2!
