A few more Tri-nine's to add to the list:
Green Hope Will Yoder, AC Colintino
    Fuquay Travis Long, Austin Yarborough
    Apex Nick Smith, Dylan Edwards
Holly Springs Wes Connover, Joel Mackey, Kevin Fortier
    Panther Creek Ryan Bouton
These boys should all be able to find somewhere to play at the next level.

    Another great catcher!

Catcher Connor Andrus, from RJ Reynolds. He is a wall behind the plate - nothing gets by him! Connor sets up and blocks very well and calls pitches really well also. He is vocal on the field and is solid at the plate. He's the ultimate teammate. He will be a great asset to a program somewhere as he is a great kid from a great family. Works hard and plays hard.

Corey Bolam - 2011 Catcher - but can play anywhere on the field
    South Central High School
Has hit well against every level of competition. Excellent behind the dish with good pop times and extremely accurate.
2010 All Conference, Team MVP, State Games
2090 All Conference, All Area Team, State Games Alternate
Played with the Dirtbags (main and 17U) this past summer.
Corey has not made a decision on a school yet. He is still weighing his options. I am biased so maybe someone else can offer an opinion.

Left handed pitcher who just gets people out. Nothing flashy. Ball has lots of movement in the low 80's.

Last season was 7-0 with a 0.54 era and 4 saves. Allowed 33 hits in 52 innings while striking out 61 and walking just 9.

Pitched in all of East's playoff games on the way to the state championship where he didn't allow a run in 20 innings.

Apex / Kyle Tighe & Nick Smith

    Apex / Kyle Tighe

Ya know when the ball comes off the bat just a little different, a unique sound...here is a left handed hitter that really has that pop in his bat. Plays 3b/of, runs a 6.9...I hope someone take a look at this kid, he has alot of upside.

And as mentioned earlier in this thread, his teamate at Apex, Nick Smith/2b, is a pure hitter from the left side. Tremendous leader and student as well...would help any program.

My 2 cents on kids under the radar

These two guys are going to be a steal for a college team.

The other Berry at Rocky Mount: Matthew Berry, rhp/corner guy, very smart baseball instincts and will hit to all fields with good pop.

Jack Sinopoli, rhp/of at Cardinal Gibbons: very composed and mature pitcher with ability to throw the fastball, curve, change and slider with confidence. Quick bat and good speed.

These two guys have improved their game each of the last 4 years which to me is a pattern that fits well with a college program.

MVP of the 3A championship series. Great defensively. Above average speed. Sapp batted .369 scoring 40 runs and 29 rbi's.

Keith Little-Mooresville High School- Tall, lanky LHP that can be very impressive. Good fastball and ability to throw the curveball to both left handed and right handed hitters at any time.
Josh Skidmore-Mooresville High School- One of the best defensive players I have seen. Hits for contact and is always on base.
AJ Nelson-Mooresville High School- Was very impressive his sophomore year but suffered arm problems last season and did not throw much. Started throwing much more during the legion season and was impressive from what I saw. I believe he will be very solid this season for the devils.
Will Sapp-East Rowan High School- 3A state championship MVP last season, great in the outfield, runs down anything and is always a hard out at the plate.
Will Johnson-East Rowan High School- Always has the ability to get batters out, does not walk batters and although he is not overpowering he still gets strikeouts.
Kevin Wentzel-Lake Norman High School-Big, powerful, LHP, has a lot of potential to be a great college player. Throws hard and gets outs.
