Is it reasonable to say Alexander has the team to win the state championship or they are just good enough to win a championship in a weak conference,where they only had to beat one good team.

Come on out of the "mountain bubble," boys....the STATE playoffs are right around the corner. Gonna have to come out of the hills and play the rest of the state!

Not saying that AC won't win it all.....but they're gonna have to play better than what they've been playing to beat the quality teams that stand in their way.....after the first round, of course!

Good Luck to AC...would love to see them drive those motorcycles all the way to the State Finals. 2nd round gets REAL interesting....and even more difficult after that!

listen here kid, this is the last time I'm going to say anything to you...high school football is about going out on Friday nights and knowing that you have the ability to beat any team on any given night...this isnt the pros or college ball, but as demonstrated by even those divisions, ie the Browns over the Pats by 20 on sunday, any team can go out there and give it their all and it be enough on any given night. In the words of the future Hall of Fame coach Jerry Moore from ASU..."Its not about being the best team in the country, but its about being the best team in the stadium...ON THAT DAY"

ACR is a quality program with a long tradition of winning. Fortunately, they don't go in motion doing back handsprings like your neighbors at Watuaga. Where did THAT come from? Yikes!!!

Good Luck to AC! Lot of speed coming to Taylorsville via West Charlotte Friday night. I do think AC's discipline could prevail in that game. Time will tell.

South Caldwells prety good buddy, and yes they beat one good team but that one good team almost beat butler didnt they? yea thought so!...and i am by no means picking AC to win state right now. Do i beleive they can? Sure why not. We were up 16 on the state champs last year and lost because a few reasons which dont matter now. But yea i would say why not. I think this friday will be a heck of a test though. This running back "Scoot Simmons" looks like a monster. Reminds me alot of Terrence Kincaid. GrayB i know you remember him.!...still takin AC because of the Defense. 28-17

I never said Hibriten wasn't any good.Just like Patton beating AC,AC beating Hibriten was a fluke.I am not a Hibriten fan either.

I've heard the score was: West Charlotte 20 AC 7
C'mon guys.....first round? AGAIN???? Say it ain't so.

I honestly thought AC would get through the first round. Truthfully, it would have gotten tough after that, with quality opponents stacking up against you.

Not trying to pour salt on the wound, but what happened? Was West Charlotte THAT good? Give some details about the game, please?!?!?!?
