    So just how good is West Rowan? I know they have won a lot of games in a row but how do they match up with Hibriten?

    they are very good- but if HHS will play like they did against Asheville in the First Half, they can win the game.....if they shit the bed like they did against Alex. Central then it will not be close.

    I do not follow it closely but I live in Hibriten's district. I am not sure if they have ever gotten this far.

    yes they have 2003 IIRC- they lost at home to Bandys... (not sure about the year but i know it was the west regional "finals")

    before the new playoff system they made it to the semi-finals in 79' (I think)

    I think it was 03 or 04. I just remember it was my varsity years while I was at AC. I think Hibriten can most definitely play well enough to win. It should be very exciting for both sides.

    If it's any consolation.. thats about the toughest game West Rowan has had in 45 games....maybe even the closest score.....

    Congratulations to Hibriten on a great year. I have one observation on the game. Why did hibriten try to throw the ball so much. They ran it everytime in their first scoring drive and moved the ball with ease but after that they started trying to throw it way to much. If they had stuck to their normal running game they would have won the game easily. I would bet by 3 TDs. W Rowan had no answer for their speed running the ball outside. ?????????
