Ray Chandler Memorial Scholarship

    Softball Family,
    We are pleased to announce that the NC ASA Council met Saturday, Dec. 4th. and they honored the memory of Ray Chandler by establishing the "Ray Chandler Memorial Scholarship".
    It will be an annual scholarship awarded to a chosen applicant, based on criteria yet to be determined. We will have more info coming as we get our committee together to set guidelines and create an application process. Please advise your kids that this will soon be another scholarship opportunity.
    I will post the info as it comes available.

    note: wife just edited this to mention that Ray had the soft spoken, wonderful phone voice and made you feel like family.

    That's great! Ray deserves to be remembered!

    This is a good way to continue paying respect to a wonderful human being.
