Subdivided brackets

    Why not in other sports like it was in football? That would give more state titles and more teams and kids that would get to experience the process.

    Explain the brackets?

    I saw the divided brackets yesterday and could not find an explanation of them anywhere. Noted there was 1A - A, 1A - AA, 2A- A, etc.

    What do these subcategories mean?

    So does that mean they are going to do it in other sports or are you referring to the football brackets?

    Yes I understand that. But are they going to change other sports to the 1A 1AA 2A 2AA ect...or have they already.

    Wasn't basketball, softball, baseball,.. ect just 1A-4A, one big bracket in each classification.

    Its the money... Football is the only sport that really generates money. Think of all the extra money generated with TWICE the number of playoff games. Most of the other sports operate at a "loss".
