BASE HITS INDOOR BATTING CAGES

Base Hits is loacted in Pittsboro, NC off of US HWY 15-501.

We have 4 full length cages for softball or baseball and 2 tee work cages. We also have a Pro Shop where you can buy equipment. We have Easton, Schutt, Combat, Juggs, Muhl, and Adams dealerships.

In one of our full length cages we have a dirt pitching mound. The pitching distances are 35', 40' and 43' for fastpitch and 46', 50', 54', and 60'6" for baseball.

Our softball pitching instructor is Rodney Campbell. He has been working with us for 7 years and has over 50 girls that currently take lessons from him. He really knows pitching!

Our baseball intructors are Benji Johnson and Patrick Currin. Benji played for UNC and was drafted by the Braves. He gives hitting and catching lessons. Patrick played for UNC-G and was also drafted by the Braves. He gives pitching lessons.

We accommodate teams of all ages, just give us a call to set it up! Walk-ins are welcomed.

Just heard that a Batting Cage/center Just opened in the Oakboro area of Stanly Co.... located at 410 Main St near the Oakboro Park.

 

Grand Slam USA Pitcher / Catcher Camp Agenda this weekend

We have 30 pitchers and 20 catchers from Maryland to Florida signed up for
this pre season pitcher - catcher camp being held at the 22000 sf Grand Slam USA facility in Raleigh.

Instruction being provided by the NCSU and Peace College staffs as well as
coach Walker from Campbell University. Member of both the Peace College and NCSU softball teams will assist during the event.

The camp is sold out, but open for all to come watch.

New facility in Mooresville called Benchwarmers. This place is huge, multiple batting and pitching cages, tee work cages, basketball court, plenty of room for team practices. Golf simulator, putting green.

X1 Indoor Softball + Baseball (Charlotte)

Brand new indoor softball/baseball facility located in South Charlotte. Opened December 2010.

Softball pitching/catching lessons available from former college pitcher and current varsity HS head coach. To schedule a lesson, please email [email protected]. All skill levels, beginner ---> rec ball ---> high school ---> all levels of travel ball.
