    ya gotta tell me who this Scott Creasey kid is from Garner HS...a pitcher for the team and the next American Idol! The kid can sing!!!!!

    Can he sing too!? That would make a nice battery mate. Seriously, this kid is only 16 and has unbelievable pipes...I mean serious one's. I'm going to make it to one of his games just to bother him to sing.

    Now, I hope the team isn't counting on him because the kid will be in Hollywood for awhile.

    It's also important to note that AI is not something I normally watch, but I will certainly follow this kid.

    Well, "dated" may not be the right term... "Harrassed" comes to mind. I thought it was hilarious that she emailed me asking for names of Top 10 "players." Of course, I listed Stretchy as no.1

    scott mccreery... to be honest with you i didnt even know he played ball at garner but apparently he is good friends with my little cousin.

    maybe he will win American Idol and sing the national anthem at woodstock next summer?!

    but he is a better singer. He is a junior and would probably made a few starts for Varsity. My kid played against him for years at GBI. Always remember him with a smile on his face but had no idea until a month ago that he could even sing.

    has it that the kid has made it through several rounds and possibly in the top 20. I think he will miss the entire spring season.

    I was reading this post last week and was wondering what you guys were talking about. The other day my wife was watching tv and called me into the office and asked me if i knew this kid. To my surprise it was the kid you guys were talking about. I told her that i didn't know who he was as far as playing baseball, but damn he can really sing. I believe he will go far because he has that it, that the entertainment world loves. Good luck to him and his family.

    Only here on TBR will you get updated information on baseball, baseball players and American Idol contestants.

    I'm with JM15...we should lock him down now for Woodstock.
