Silly Question, but I'd like to hear your thoughts

That's awesome. Hey Braves, would you mind coming down and putting on the Devil's costume for a game or two against Lake Norman or Hopewell? I think you'd look pretty good and you get free food!

I sure did. Oh, and on the drinks. We'll construct you a drinking hat with beer on one side and soda on the other with a holder for your hot dog so your hands will always be free to give the umpire the bird in your drunken stupor

South Meck Diamond Dolls

This seems to be a growing theme in the area. I know back in 07 South Meck started their Diamond Dolls group. It provide support for the team at games but it was much more than just that. Usually once a week, the senior players and diamond dolls would go across the street to the elementary school during our lunch period and help tutor kids. The group of kids we tutored got a "Sabre Cub" shirt and they could come run the bases or play catch with us on the field after our friday home games. I'm not sure if they still have this program in place but I would sure hope so. It's a great way to get players involved in the community.
