    some of the teams

I don't have a complete listing, but I believe I saw the following teams there:
    NC Challengers (2 teams)
    Carolina Gators
    Cape Fear Storm
    Knockouts
    Carolina Bombs
    Laney HS
    Union Co. HS
Another HS that were the "Bulldogs"

I believe there were a few more.

At UNCW there were only 4 teams

    HS
    Laney went 2-1
    Union went 0-3

    TB
    Carolina Gators went 3-0
Cape Fear Storm Black went 1-2

Maybe the others teams mentioned were at Hoggards feilds but not at UNCW

    ???

As I have no clue what was meant by this comment, I would just like to note that the Gators team last weekend was comprised of: 1 freshman, 5 sophomores, 2 juniors, and 2 seniors. Another Gator played with her HS team while another one came, but had to leave early due to a family commitment. A sophomore pitcher pitched the most innings. In 85 plate appearances, 68 Gators reached base. The Gators finished 4-0 by a combined score of 33-0. :lijstje:

    Defense of Coach

Sorry I am a little late on this, but I need to defend the coach who "chews" out his girls at the UNCW camp. My daughter goes to a rival high school in Wilmington, and played for said coach during last year's State Games. I must admit that we did hear a lot of negative things about the coach, but our experience with him could not have gone any better. The man definitely knows his softball, and he treats the girls with respect. My daughter was upset when she found out that he would be coaching the Seniors in the State Games as she was looking forward to playing for him again.

I think Dobber likes Alexander Central in the 4-a and East Rowan in 3A. and likes busting my chops. Bout what I gathered from that HAHA........ Don't believe the North Iredell making noise part. We were barely able to field a team at all HA.
