2011 UNC Baseball Camps

    Hey everyone,

    The 2011 UNC Summer Camp lineup has been set and is beginning to fill up quickly. I wanted to drop by here and spread the word around the Charlotte area. Feel free to get up with me if you have any questions about the upcoming camps. Hope to see Charlotte well-represented this summer, best of luck to everyone this Spring!

    About the 2011 Sessions

    Carolina Baseball Camps are recommended for the serious baseball player who desires to become a better player. All of our camps for the older player (rising 6th grade and up) are designed to challenge the serious baseball player to his maximum potential. The camp curriculum is fundamentally oriented. Each session and drill is age appropriate.

    COLLEGE COACHES PROSPECT CAMP     (This is the first ever camp of this kind held at UNC!) -- JUNE 25-26, 2011 (Saturday-Sunday)
    $315--Offered for 2012, 2013, 2014 graduates only.
    UNC will offer each camper the opportunity to showcase and play games in front of college coaches from all levels of college baseball: Division I, II, III, NAIA, etc. Campers will be exposed to 10-20 college coaches depending upon # of campers. Camp begins at 10:00am Saturday with the last game of the day ending aproximately 9:00pm. Sunday camp begins at 9:00am with last game ending at 3:00pm. This is a unique opportunity to play at one of the nation's best college facilities and showcase your talent to many of North Carolina's best college programs! Campers are responsible for their own lodging and transportation.

    LITTLE TAR HEEL DAY CAMPS -- JUNE 27-30, 2011 and JULY 25-28, 2011 (Monday-Thursday)
    $315--Offered for rising 1st-5th graders only.
    This camp teaches the basic fundamentals of the game. Games are played most days. Camp instruction begins at 9:00am and ends at 5:00pm Monday-Thursday. Campers are dropped off at 8:45am and picked up at 5:00pm Monday-Thursday. Camps held at Boshamer Stadium. 80 spaces available each camp.

    HITTING and PITCHING/CATCHING CAMPS -- JULY 9-10, 2011 (Saturday-Sunday)
    $225 each camp--Offered for rising 8th-11th graders only.
    This camp focuses on hitting only on Saturday, July 9 and pitching/catching only on Sunday, July 10. Camper will be exposed to UNC drills and mechanics. Camps begin at 9:00am and end at 4:00pm both days. Cost of attending both days is $400. 80 spaces available for each camp. Campers are responsible for their own hotel and transportation. Camps held at Boshamer Stadium.

    MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMP -- JULY 16 & 17, 2011 (Saturday and Sunday)
    $315--Offered for rising 6th-8th graders only.
    This camp is designed for the middle school player and will teach the basic fundamentals of hitting, throwing, infield and outfield play, pitching and catching. Simulated games may be played. Camp begins Saturday at 9:00am and ends Sunday at 1:00pm. Saturday, July 16: 9:00am-5:00pm, Sunday, July 17: 9:00am-1:00pm. Lunch is served Saturday only. 80 spaces available. Campers are responsible for their own hotel and transportation. Camp held at Boshamer Stadium.

    PROSPECT SKILLS CAMP -- JULY 30-31, 2011 (Saturday-Sunday)
    $425--Offered for 2013, 2014 and 2015 high school graduates only.
    This camp is designed for evaluation and instruction by the UNC coaching staff with emphasis on the potential for Division I baseball. Camp begins Saturday at 9:00am and ends Sunday at 1:00pm. Lunch is served Saturday only. Campers are responsible for their own hotel and transportation. Camp held at Boshamer Stadium.

    Any fall dates available.

    My son and several of the boys on our 15U AAU team are interested in UNC. The Summer seems to fill up quickly but are there any fall dates that will be posted later. Thanks http://www.bristolcountyeagles.org

    UNC Fall Camps

    We have just finished putting together our schedule thru next fall. As of right now, our Fall Camp dates are tentative and not open for registration. As soon as the dates get locked in and we open registration, I will post back here.

    Glad you guys want to make it up to Chapel Hill, best of luck this Spring!
