    Seager's Tar Heels

Way to go Ryno! Another one of Coach Seager's Tar Heels shines!

Ryan Foster was the pitcher who beat Providence last season to take them out of the playoffs. Solid player, great kid, bright future.

    SW Guilford vs NW Guilford

Southwest Guilford got a big win over Northwest Guilford to bounce back from a tough 1-0 defeat to Glenn earlier in the week.

Sophomore ace Matt Orth got the tough luck 1-0 loss to Glenn on Monday, but Southwest's #2 pitcher got a huge win on the mound tonight to keep Southwest right in the hunt in the Piedmont Triad 4A.

Originally it was set up for Orth (UNC 2013 commitment) to pitch both games, but with SW/Glenn getting rained out last Friday and moved to this Monday, that made him unable to pitch against Northwest.

Piedmont Triad 4A appears to be pretty balanced this year and full of good teams yet again. Should be fun to watch it all unfold.

Haven't seen many MP JV Updates lately --- how are they doing? Looked like they were whipping up on everyone based on your posts. Nice to see the JV guys getting some attention.
