    fences

I must have missed something because all the guy did was ask how big the field was and everybody got there panties in a wad. Maybe he wasnt dissing the players but just wanted to know how big or small the ballfield is, really what is the big deal cause its the same for both teams. West Caldwell is the shortest field we play on its barely 300 all around, at South Caldwell its like 348 down the lines and 354 in center, so i would say we have a pitchers park.

The field dimensions are to the home fields advantage. Whether the visiting team takes advantage of the same thing the thing home team does is up to them. It's still 60ft 6in. from mound to plate, still 90ft to all the bases and both teams are playing on the same field. The players play the game not the field, some players just take more advantage of the field than others:shiny:

    Wall Movers

Duckdog...how did you know? Higgy not only has a parent sign up for concession, but also "wall movers." One parent behind the fence in each field. They watch through cracks in the wall. Senior parents get right field, it's lighter and closer to the bathroom.

Cuthbertson is a newer school, they are on hydraulics.
