Seems like Jordan Deloatch has been around for 5-8 years. The kid has had a phenomenal career. I wouldn't be surprised that Coach Mills names his next born, Jordan.

Thank you for the correction. We were told by a fan at the game that night that it was the battle of the undefeated JV teams.

Southern Lee 6 Chapel Hill 5 (10 innings)

Southern Lee now 10-4 overall record

Coach Miller defeats his prior team for the 2nd time this season. Game was well played on both sides, starting pitcher for Chapel Hill had I believe 11 K's in 5 innings.

BIG GAMES IN THE I-MECK LAST NIGHT

Sounds like barn burners last night at Mooresville and at Lake Norman. I could not make it up to either game. Sure would love details from some of you guys.
    Thanks,

    North Lenoir 9 C.B. Aycock 5

Rand Jackson (2-0) gets the W!

For North Lenoir, Grayson Phillips, Spencer Bass, & Brian Hardy all had homers.

Jonathan Taylor (2 run homer), Jeff Davis (2-2), & Mick Walker (2-3), led Aycock.

C.B. Aycock falls to 11-3 overall, 7-1 ECC.
North Lenoir moves up to 11-2 overall, 6-2 ECC.

    Glad he's a Tar Heel

    Benton Moss:

My hats off to him. In 2 Big East Conference games he has:

    37 K's, given up 2 hits, walked 1, and hit 3 batters.

Out of 39 outs recorded, 37 were by strike-out.

    Best I've ever seen!
