    IMO,,, NW is doing about as expected, def the class of the league,,, MP has been inconsistent and more low than I expected,,, didnt really know what to expect from Hickory Ridge or JMR and both have impressed. Not surprised at overall standings.

    Still dont like the idea of playing the same team twice the same week, I think this needs to change. If best 2 teams play each other early in year, rest of season is boring.

    Hickory Ridge defeats Concord 14 to 0. Zach Andrews pitches 6 shutout innings and also hits his first homerun of the season.

    NW Cabarrus 10 A.L. Brown 5

    Wes Smith pitched 6 2/3 great innings and Corey Seager led the Trojans hitting with another homer.
    Browns Zack Jones pitched well and Caleb Jackson and Quin Gill had 2 hits for the Wonders.

    Same two teams Friday at Brown. 4 jvs 630 Varsity.

    Cox Mill 10 Central Cabarrus 7

    Cox Mill picks up a nice road win at Central tonight. Freshman Austin Fox pitched 5 strong innings and Travis Watkins pitched a lights out 7th for the save. Watkins also homered for the 8-9 Chargers who are starting to get some of their injured players back.

    Also hitting their first homeruns of the season for Hickory Ridge were Armando Castaneda and Travis Baucom. Blake Sides also hit one for his 4th this year.
