Check out the Matt Cossa post

Everyone on this forum wishes the best for him. Being from Person high school was he treated at Duke ? Xpectus6 has a post about the Matt Cossa memorial game which has been pinned at the top of this forum. Matt, a Green Hope player, unfortunately died of this very same disease 5 years ago. Since then, over $100,000 has been donated to Duke to fight this same disease - the hope is that this funding may help Travis survive the same illness that Matt didn't. Anyway, this Saturday if you live near the USA baseball complex, you may want to show up and support the fundraising to fight this disease that Travis is now fighting. Check out the Matt Cossa Memorial post by xpectus6 (a current GH player) on this forum.

Thanks, I appreciate this info... Travis is receiving his treatments at Duke. I will check it out and though my wife and I are taking our daughter out of town this weekend, I will pay for the success of the event!

Prayers to this young man! His fight will inspire everyone, young and old, to realize and respect the gifts that are in front of them. Life itself is a gift and it sounds like he is showing how to live it and make the most of it!
