How can Central Davidson still be ranked only #6 in the NCSCA 2A poll?

    What must this team do to get the ranking that they deserve? They play a demanding non-conference schedule. They have defeated the following 3A schools #1 Southwestern Randolph, #2 East Rowan, #3 Marvin Ridge & #6 Ledford. They also defeated 1A #3 East Surry. They also defeated West Stokes & Ashley. They still have to play the following 4A schools #1 Alexander Central, #2 North Davidson & #4 SE Guilford. They also defeated a team from Pennsylvania & a team from Kentucky. Their only lost is to 1A #1 South Stanly. Help me to understand their 2A ranking.

    Simple, the ranking really don't mean anything.

    The only time rankings matter is the one at the end of the season that says #1. Then you accomplished it. Any other ranking is purely subjective and means nothing.

    Right!!

    It also means Central D has been forgotten about which means they can fly under the radar .Please leave the sleeping giant alone they will come forward and play when it means the most.Being #1 just means there is always someone else breathing down your neck.

    is leading the polls as a potential republican presidential candidate. Polls are based on opinions. You know what they say about opinions. I'd best leave it there.

    There must be "some" truth to that or the polls wouldn't mean anything to you. Polls are only opinions!

    Check the polls as of 4-25-11, Central Davidson is listed as 2ND!
