Legion Ball in Fayetteville, NC

    I have looked for a post in the Fayetteville area. As far as I can tell there isn't one according to VFW's website.

    If that's the case, I have a few questions:
    1. Anyone know of a Cumberland or Hoke county affiliated Post?
    2. How do you start a Legion team?
    3. Is it too late to start a Legion team for this summer?
    4. Recommendations for other teams close by?

    I have enough boys to field a team. Anything the boys do for the summer will require us to travel due to lack of organizations locally for 15, 16 and 17 year olds.

    We have a Junior Legion team of mostly Sophmores here in Pittsboro, probably about an hour from you, that has a few open dates. We had a few teams cancel on us and are looking to fill a couple of dates if you decide to put a team together. It doesn't matter who you eventually affilliate with, were just looking to play. We could do a DH, and would be willing to travel to you also.
