    NW 3 Robinson 4

    Robinson beats NW in 8 innings. JMR jump to an early lead on back to back homers and NW ties it up at 3-3. JMR scores in the top of the 8th and hangs on for the win. MP and JMR play tomorrow night for SPC Tourney Championship at 7pm. CC and CM play at 4:30 to determine the 5th seed. Both games at NW.

    Does the winner of the championship take the number two seed for the SPC in the state playoffs???

    2 seed from the spc will probably get Catholic in the second round. Three seed will probably see East Rowan in the second round. Fouth seed should see Weddington in the second round. The fourth seeds third round game would be against Catholic instead of NW Cabarrus or East Rowan. May not be a bad idea for the coaches at Robinson to take that in to consideration.

    Yes sir, the winner knocks Hickory Ridge to a #3 seed who will travel to Union County to face MR/Weddington loser. SPC Tourney Champ would be #2 seed and host Carson, the loser would be the #4 seed and make a long road trip to W Iredell.

    #2 SCC Weddington/Marvin Ridge loser
    #3 SPC Hickory Ridge

    #1 SPC NW Cabarrus
    #4 MPC N Forsyth

    #2 SPC Mount Pleasant/ Robinson winner
    #3 NPC Carson

    #1 SCC Marvin Ridge/Weddington winner
    #5 SPC Central Cabarrus/Cox Mill winner

    #4 SPC Mount Pleasant/ Robinson loser
    #2 NPC W Iredell

    This according to NCHSAA brackets...

    All I know is that you better bring your "A' game because there are a lot of good teams out there. I don't see any easy wins in all of the teams mentioned.

    CC vs CM

    Just got in from New York and got the update from my son (and daughter)-------- Cox Mill 12 Central Cabarrus 5 ...........no details, but again congrats to JD Vidal and his Chargers for making it into the state playoffs in just their 2nd year of existance........

    I have had the pleasure of watching the Chargers the last two seasons and have been nothing but impressed. The players buy in to the philosophy and they put a ton of pressure on their opponents. Through big injuries to important players they stayed consistent. Big congratulations to Cox Mill and Coach Vidal on their first birth to the playoffs. This is a team you don't want to run in to in the first round..
