So true, but I understand the supporters of those two programs reasoning behind it. To have two programs ranked in the top 5 from the same conference, a 3 game series would be a pretty exciting matchup. However, I believe Davie County will be the West representative. They have something "special" this year; perhaps fate.

Playoff time is always exciting. Obviously it takes talent to advance, but at some point, usually some luck plays a role... and I'm sure this year will be no exception.

Personally, I want to see exciting games. I don't really care who is playing. Well that's not entirely true. I want to see a team from Charlotte advance only because I won't have to drive as far. Of course, if South Caldwell, West Forsyth or Watauga advances, I've got a place to stay. So I guess I am rooting for somebody.

Holiday Inn Express in beautiful KVegas. Nice rooms - and I'll even pay if the Cats are in it deep. So now you have a place if Glenn advances...

(I would offer private lodging, but with a 7, 6, and 3 year old - plus a new addition 16 weeks old - well, the quarters would be tight!:invasion: )

I have to say, If Herbert keeps pitching like he is - painting the corners and Buttrey stay's consistant with the over powering fastball I think this may be a very special year for Providence. Pitchings might be their only weak spot when you consider their batting line up from top to bottom - not a weak link in the group. Let's see if their pitching can hold up into the post season - if so, I think they're the team to beat this year.

    Updated Playoff Look

I know that some conference tournaments are coming to completion and I know that Myers Park could change everything but I was hoping someone could help me out by giving me an updated playoff look. Thanks.
