    Louisburg coaching Vacancy?

    Anyone heard anything about Louisburg firing their Head Coach?

    They should not have let him resign. They should have fired him long ago. He doesn't have a clue how to coach college baseball!!!

    Louisburg Baseball needs to appoint Coach Blake Herring as head coach. He is an excellent coach and has a brilliant baseball mind. He also has the players' best interest at heart and respects his players. Something that John Thomas was sorely missing!!

    Blake helped at Millbrook High School before going Louisburg. Great coach.

    Herring is an excellent choice to replace Thomas and bring Louisburg baseball back to a traditional powerhouse. He is an up and comer that those familiar with college baseball in this area already know and respect. Herring is very familiar with Jr. College baseball as a player and coach. He guided LCC to a college world series before going on to become a two year ace at Campbell University. He is a pitching genius with a strong background in foundations built around biomechanical principles of the game. He has already placed one player in the top 5 rounds of the MLB draft along with having the Region X Pitcher of the year twice and many other prospects on the way in only two years on the staff at Louisburg.

    Somebody with PASSION (which Thomas lacked) needs to take control and turn this thing around to where LC SHOULD be year in a year out. This guy is a proven recruiter, very hard worker, and already a proven young coach. Its a no brainer IMO....

    Surry cc wins game#1 in 11 innings against a very tough florida team pasco Hernando.score was 2-1 as surry had very solid defense and pitching. The knights will advance to round 2 in the winners bracket to face Patrick Henry saturday at 4pm. Cvcc loses to Patrick Henry 13-0 IN 5 innings.
