Has WCU won a game against a team with a winning record?

Stlil trashing WCU I see. Why don't you let it rest. They may not meet your expectations, but your trashing the program will not help. What are you, an ASU fan or a daddy that's star daughter did not get to play? If she has moved on what is your obsession with WCU?

    WCU

WCU got a lot of ink on here last season and it was deservely so, until they change coaches nothing will change, I have personally watched this team play and they could be a very good team with the right coach and some pitching, lots of talented players just wasting away under poor coaching and even worse decision making.
Hitting was a real problem but that has come around and the errors are not as plentiful but the pitching keeps giving up the longball to much, when the same players hit multi HR's in one day let alone a series thats on the coaching staff.
Girls have the talent and the knowlege to play the game the right way, could win more games if just left alone and played like they did when they played for the Blue's and Cardinals.
One should make contact with current players about how they feel about coaching staff before commiting to play for WCU, it would be real eye opener. The sad part about WCU softball is that it's softball program is only around for Title IX reasons and the AD does't care about results or the product they put out on the field. Coach comes cheap so she stays around. You have to feel for the girls that have made a commitment to the school, yet the school doesn't make a commitment to the program.

Do you seriously believe that asking this question is TRASHING WCU?!! It is a legit question and someone answered it. WCU doesn't need my help trashing the program they are doing a good job all by themselves.

Western ended up finishing last at 3-21 in the conference and Furman tied for next to last at 9-15. :SCF-HL: Make of it what you will but the facts speak for themselves. Hornak leaving will help WCU if they can get a coach who knows how to recruit and that the girls want to play for. The new coach will have his or her work cut out for them. Getting rid of Hornak is long overdue and a good move by the administration.

    Extremely Long overdue!

I heard Hornak was let go today! All I can say is it is about time. Some really great players are gone because of her. Who is to say what this team could have been if given the opportunity to have played for someone else. Not sure why it took the administration so long to wake up.

I hope someone can come in and turn the program around. Attitude is already better and players are positive for the first time in a long time about the future, which is the first step in the right direction.
