I am saying that the kid can throw and the opposing team is welcome to try his arm out to see how good it is.

 

Pop times are very subjective to each stopwatch or rather the person clicking the button. One guy might get a 1.9 and the other a 1.8, there is not too much difference they are both very good.

 

OK, as everyone likes to say," I have no dog in this fight." However, if I had a dime for every 1.7/8 pop time and 92 MPH fastball and 6.65 60 dash I hear about, well, my team would have a big bus to travel around on and 3 or 4 different jerseys to wear.

Maybe he is 1.7. I have no idea. Either way, I couldn't run on him if the pitcher was in the wind-up. Well, maybe in the wind-up.

Anyway, a 1.7 on a 82 degree blue sky day, in turfs, with your coach tossing balls to you underhand - though maybe not this kid's situation - well...

Put a lefty batter in the box, on the back line, have the pitcher throw inside with a runner going, and then man your watch.

Either way, you guys play nice or we're gonna make you two take turns gearing up and running on each other.

 

Sounds like Mallard Creek should not even bother to make the trip??

Anybody feel MC has a chanch....and why??? Understand Michael Boles will not pitch (went 6 on Wed. night).
