Parkwood @ Marvin Ridge

The are in the same conference as well (Southern Carolina Conference)

They split during the regular season....With Brooks on the mound PW has a chance against anyone to pick up the W. Should be a good one.

 

it says a lot for those four conferences to have two teams still playing each other this far along in the bracket....the top half of the 1A bracket might as well have been their conf. tournament, as both Plymouth (over Camden 3-2) and Riverside (over Perquimans 6-2) had to beat conference opponents Friday to make it here, not to mention that Plymouth also beat conference foes Southside (qualified as a wild card) & Manteo in the first & second rounds

It appears Parkwood also played a conference game tonight in their win at Weddington...i guess everybody is still in shock that their game tonight featured those two instead of Northwest Cabarrus and East Rowan

 

Union County!

Four teams are still alive from Union County. Piedmont 2A , Parkwood and Marvin Ridge 3A and Porter Ridge 4A. Good luck to all four next week. There were some great games between these teams during the year.
