    East Rutherford beat Starmount 10-1 and South Stanly still has to play East Surry today to see who moves on to play Murphy

    I have seen both teams play this year. I would have to give the edge to Holly Springs, however ashley is fearless and can swing the bat. Holly Springs may have the best 1,2 punch in the state when it comes to pitching. But I heard Ashley hit 6 hr's against pinecrest who is also a very good team with 1 of them coming off of Dillon Maples.

    Carlos probably won't be available until Saturday since he threw 15 K's last night which I'm assuming was a complete game.

    Manning is good but without Carlos coming back Friday, I might have to go against my conference and give the edge to Ashley. If they can top Manning tomorrow night, I think they lock it up Friday in Wilmington.

    I was under the impression that the games were friday and saturday, and all of them were at Holly Springs, they are the #1 seed and last year all regionals were held at the higher seed site.

    The 3A west regional is currently scheduled for Thursday (at higher seed), Friday (lower seed) and Saturday (back to Higer seed if necessary)
