    Baseball family, please keep Matt Hill and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Matt is a former East Meck High School, On Deck O's, and Elon Baseball player.

    He is working with a church-based outreached group in the District of Columbia is missing and is the subject of a widening manhunt.

    Washington DC Matt Hill remains unaccounted for and missing from his job and friends in Washington, DC for what will be approximately 72 hours around noon tomorrow.

    Power of Prayer!

    My heart goes out to Matt and his family. I have known Matt for over 10 years and what a Godly young man he is, such an awesome role model to so many young/old adults. He has a true gift of preaching the gospel and having it be heard. He would want us to pray for his safety and safe return. Knowing that he is "right" with our Lord is comforting to know.:sunny:

    It's always difficult to learn of these circumstances with a person you don't know, but it's even more heartbreaking when you actually do know the person. I pray that Matt is found and will be alright.

    In the mean time, my thoughts and prayers go out to the Hill family during a very agonizing time. Whew...this is unsettling.

    Matt Hill was found safe and unharmed...prayers do work!!!!

    May God continue to bless this young man. Baseball really is secondary to some things in life. Praying for much success to Matt both on the field and especially on God's obvious call and plan on his life.
