Charlotte Post and Pineville Post Rosters

Anyone have any information that they can share on these two teams? Based on what I have been hearing both teams should be loaded! Pineville should be pulling all the Providence and AK players that are graduating and Charlotte should be getting all the EM and MP players along with most of the Private School graduates. If you know or have heard anything please share it here. I do know Charlotte's first ballgame is at home (MP Field) on Wed. against a good Kings Mtn. team. Thanks

Update

Talked to a couple people today about Charlotte Post. They will be known as the Queen City Mustangs this summer. Most of the list Dawgcatcher posted is accurate. Here's what I heard today:

Jenson, Hull, Starting Catcher-pitcher, Stud Lefty Pitcher from Catholic.
Langdon, Harrison, and Duncan from Country Day.
Trosch, Daniels, and Reisterer from East Meck.
Snover, Powell, Baker, Coggins, Rowe from Myers Park.
Starting shortstop from Christian.
Olin Little from Wingate.
Weiss from Lenoir Rhyne.

I didn't get all the names just some descriptions of some of the players so maybe someone can fill in the names if you are familiar with the particular school's program. I'm also sure there are a couple players left off as I believe they will carry 20 but have to cut down to 16-18 for the playoffs.

Still don't have any info on Pineville.

 

Charlotte Roster

That would be Jensen, Hull, Manning, and Stewart from Catholic and Bryce Bradley from Christian.

 

The Queen City Mustangs (Charlotte Post) opened the season with a 16-4 seven inning victory over Kings Mountain. Daniel Stewart from Charlotte Catholic got the win. The Mustang bats were hot with David Daniels (East Meck), James Snover (Myers Park), Tyler Powell (Myers Park), William Frazier (Country Day), Jackson Reisterer (East Meck), and Eddie Hull (Charlotte Catholic) each collecting at least two hits. Powell hit a double and HR. The Mustangs will travel to East Lincoln Friday night.

 

Does anybody have a schedule? I want to see some games!

 

Charlotte

The QC Mustangs have four away games this upcoming week: Monday night at Monroe's Bickett Stadium, Wednesday night at Wingate (Union Co), Thursday night at Pineville's Jack D. Hughes Park, and then Saturday at North Meck (Huntersville).

These guys took another one last night from Mint Hill, 9-1. Ryan Wiese (LR) started on the mound, followed by Olen Little (Wingate), and closed out by Collin Manning (Char. Catholic/Holy Coss). Mint Hill's starting pitcher Cody Stull took a no hitter into the 4th or 5th, then it was broken up by 3B Eddie Hull (Char. Catholic). Queen City then got the bats going, led by David Daniels (East Meck/Davidson), Jackson Reisterer (East Meck), Tyler Powell (MP/Western Car), Patrick Langdon (Char. Country Day), Brian Duncan (Char. Country Day), and Taylor Rowe (MP/Washington and Lee). The Charlotte boys are now 2-0 on the season.

 

Thanks for the update. I'll try to make it Thurs at Jack Hughes. That should be a great game.

 

Pineville???

Where's the Pineville people? I know the coach has posted before. I've heard a couple rumblings that Ratledge is not playing (summer school at NCSU), Fincher and Austin from PROV. aren't playing (haven't heard why), and Pearlman from SM has hung up his cleats to be a student only at SC. If all these things are true they may struggle as Queen City (Charlotte Post) looks real strong and Huntersville looks to be strong as well.

Maybe someone can look a little deeper into this and give us an update. Plenty of players on that side of town, just wondering who's playing?

Below is the 2011 Pineville 337 Senior Legion Roster. I have not posted it before because we were trying to finalize the roster. I really like this group of guys. Rough start on the first night versus Union County, but these guys will bounce back. I would rather focus on the guys that we have instead of those we don't. We have contacted all available players and these are the ones that want to play for Pineville. We will see you at the park and give it our best.
