Southern Vance is a force in this game, for certain. They not only have Garrett on the mound, but a strong starting 5 or 6 offensively as well. They could well take this from SWR. Would be a great game to see, for certain!

AC is definitely the favorite. ND dominated last year, but lost 9 main players and basically are bringing back a whole new squad. No one expected them to be back in Raleigh this year. And from your post you don't seem to give them much of a chance.

Getting back to the Creek after losing 9 players is a magnificent feat in itself. I don't have any doubt they're good but I'm pulling for the East teams.

If you go to the games check out the Swansboro pitcher. The Radel kid is the real deal. She has given up 1 run in the playoffs. IMHO one of the better pitchers in the state.

Both of the East teams' pitchers are worth seeing! I'm hoping for a great tournament!

As best I remember Walnut Creek Park holds the heat very well. With the weather the way it is now, it might be a tough weekend.

I hope they learned something from the parking/entry backup that they had last year.

Just in case, if you've never been, make sure you allow yourself plenty of time. If you plan on being an hour early you will probably only be about an hour late.
