James Pierce To Piedmont College

    Congratulations go out to James Pierce (JP, as everyone calls him) from D.H. Conley High, who will be attending Piedmont College in the fall & play for Coach Jim Peeples down in Demorest, Georgia. JP, one of my favorite all-time Wilson Bulldogs, is just a good, all-around player who can play any position, can hit, & can hold his own on the mound when called upon. Very versatile player! JP was a Coastal 3A All-Conference player for 3 years, and All-Area for 2 years, and currently is spending the summer playing for Pitt County Post 39.:cheers2:

    I don't know him personally, but anytime a player gets the chance to get an education and continue to play the sport you love is wonderful. I know your family and friends are proud. CONGRATULATIONS.

    Thanks for the post karl....lot of those Bulldogs are great players. Piedmont is a good fit for JP!
