Maybe someone has written about this place and I missed it, but DAM, I had the pleasure of seeing it today and what a place! Without a doubt this has to be the BEST facility in all of Mecklenburg County. With all due respect to East Meck's Ed Bryant Field of Dreams, this place is incredible. Parking, stands, scoreboard, the field, the bermuda grass, everything about this place is first class! I don't know but I am to assume that Charlotte Cathlotic is going to be able to use this place as their home field. If that is so, what a deal as this place was worth waiting for! About time we have something like this in this County!

I take it this is post renovations? I remember hearing about some plans to fix the place up years ago but I haven't heard a thing about it in ages. I know growing up it was no place special but we always made due.

I agree it wasn't much of a field before, not now! You need to do yourself a favor and check it out when you can. They also now have a new entrance to the whole park! You won't believe it when you see it!

I believe it was the City of Pineville. They are operating it as a park district site. Yes, PhillyDave, Charlotte Catholic will be using it as it is their new home field!

No doubt about it, this complex is outstanding. Stadium field is gorgeous with seating for about 250, dugouts are huge and all bricked in. Smaller baseball and softball fields are great too. There is also a multi purpose field in the back.

There is also a plan on the board to expand it already. They have a ton more land behind it.

Pineville Legion will also be using it to some degree. Beautiful park. The south side of Charlotte need more areas like this.

I remember playing there in 93. It even had a nice feel then. Belle Johnston looks nice too.
