    Rashad Ingram - St. Augustine College taken by San Diego in the 28th round.

    As a high school senior Rashad, along with Alex Hill, led Vance to the only state playoff game in school history.

    It was a pleasure to watch him play.

    A lot of the high school kids who were projected to go very high, put out a number of how much it would take for them to sign and skip college, so that is the reason they dropped very low or haven't been drafted yet.

    Pirate is absolutely right....although even then some players are offered Waaay above slot money. Daniel Bard was drafted in the 20th round out of HS and was offered a 7 figure contract...obviously he turned it down.
