Garrett Furr 4 Home Runs

    Garrett Furr a rising Junior for Catawba College hit 4 Home Runs for the Morganton Aggies of the SCBL on Saturday. Furr Homered in his first at bat of game one of the double header and later hit a Grand Slam to give the Aggies a 4 Run lead. In game 2 Furr hit another Grand Slam and finished the day with an opposite field home run to cap a 5-9 with 4 Home Runs (2 Grand Slams) 14 RBIs, 2 Stolen Bases.

    Holy smokes Garrett, take it easy when you play the Statesville Owls. I wonder if we should IW him at every at bat :N1respectHL:

    The most impressive ball he hit might have been a foul ball that he turned on... I think it landed over 500 feet beyond a swimming pool that you can't even see from the stadium!

    Got to see Braxton Lewis up close and personal from behind the dish last night....one word...WOW!!! Missed a 1-2 slider for strike three...luckily the next pitch the kid swung and missed. Kids got electric stuff.
