This may be a great opportunity to play at the collegiate level.

Stanly Community College, Lady Eagles Softball, will hold an unsigned senior open tryout at their home field at 199 Park Dr, Locust, NC, starting at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, June 22nd. It is open to any graduated but unsigned seniors who have a strong desire to compete at the college level. Stanly is NJCAA, Region X and plays an extensive schedule fall and spring, finishing 2nd in conference for 2011. For qualified players scholarship money is available. Those interested should contact Head Coach Ben Rogers at: [email protected].

The Wake Tech deal is a no-brainer to me!

You get your basic required classes at a small fraction of the cost of a major university. Same education, nothing less! The credits transfer to the university of your choice when you get ready to spend the big bucks.

You have a great opportunity to be part of the building of a new softball program that uses some of the best facilities available in the area when the weather otherwise doesn't allow practice, Grand Slam.

This could be a parent's dream. Kid's dream, also, independent and free but within driving distance for those home-cooked meals and other bennies. Inexpensive, but quality education, safe environment, conveniently located. Check it out!

Be a part of building a great program. Get up with Coach Dobbins and start something!
